They are our Fathers who love us too much,
Our Lovers who love us too little,
Brothers eager to part with history
and Grandfathers chasing their own tall tales,
too dizzy with nostalgia to answer for theirs.
And in their eyes, in their arms
by their sides and lending their ears
are their women.
