I love the smell of that German surgical tape.
Bags are packd. (Light). Hair is cut. (Short). And I’ve already started to grow the fetlocks.
Tomorrow I’ll be in India. A place I’ve never really been given the chance to understand. I know this trip willl not open a portal to my mum’s past, but I think, just being there will somehow give me an insight into a world she once knew.
However much it has changed since then.
I’m just happy you are (or were) posting regularly again. Cute haircut!
Whether or not you find what you’re looking for on this trip, it will add one more bit to a shared (and irreplaceable) history between your mum, you and whatever comes after. Safe and happy travels.
